Design, implementation and operation of sustainable energy systems

Bryte Energy Ltd offers consultancy on hydrogen and renewable energy related matters, from feasibility studies to full design, installation and operational management of energy systems.  We can provide project management from concept to realisation of individual sustainable energy schemes.

Using our specially developed design methodologies, we can specify the components and configuration of complete sustainable energy systems, whether grid-connected or fully autonomous, based upon the energy demands of a given location and its prevailing meteorological conditions.  Emphasis is placed upon maximising safety, energy efficiency, durability and reliability of equipment and return on investment.  This design model can be scaled to address local, regional or larger systems.

With our experience of designing, installing and operating one of the world's first integrated hydrogen and renewable energy systems, known as the HARI (Hydrogen and Renewables Integration) project, the Bryte Energy team are uniquely qualified to offer consultancy in such matters.  The HARI project is a demonstration and research facility that was established in 2004.  It is located at West Beacon Farm in Leicestershire, UK, which is the home of Professor Tony and Angela Marmont and the offices of Beacon Energy Ltd.  At this site, hydrogen-based energy storage has been integrated with multiple renewable sources to provide an autonomous sustainable energy system.  The findings of the research carried out there are continuing to influence current thinking on the operation of integrated systems at both small and large scale.

Bryte Energy has particular expertise in the production of hydrogen by electrolysis powered from intermittent and dynamic renewable energy resources.  We also have access to unique electrical distribution and control methodologies for the management of complex renewable energy systems that have been developed by our partners.
Most importantly, across all these activities, safety is paramount.  Such installations typically involve electrical, fire and chemical hazards, but while official codes and standards are yet to be finalised for some of the risks associated with these new applications, Bryte Energy's experience, exemplary record and strict safety management regime are a reassurance to customers.
